POSITION DETAILS:

Location: Remote work + meetings in Vancouver, BC
Hours: 5-10 hours per week with room for growth
Salary: Hourly or monthly retainer

DESCRIPTION:

Design Build Grow is the sister company of Salt Design Co., a brand design and development studio in Vancouver, BC.

Ideas, suggestions, and ingenuity are always welcome and we work hard to foster a supportive environment that encourages you to take ownership of your role and allows you to truly feel like you can speak up and bring your ideas to the table.

We value working together as a team, in-person, so that we can expand the insight and ideas brought to the table and so it’s important to us that you can attend the occasional meeting in-person. This role is therefore only open to people (of any gender or identification) living in the lower mainland and/or willing to travel to Vancouver for in-person meetings at least 1 x month.  

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Planning social media schedule with us

  • Scheduling across all social media platforms

  • Creation of graphics for stories and quotes

  • Writing captions (both long and short-form)

  • Engaging with other accounts

  • Monthly analytics

Future possibilities:

  • Ownership for improving/ leading the strategy directions

  • Potential for IGTV videos

  • Campaign execution + planning

  • Ability to use InDesign and Illustrator

We’re looking for a self starter; someone who can take initiative, present new ideas and problem solve when needed. We don't mind if you have another part-time job or even if you're a freelancer of some sort + we will be offering training throughout this role depending on your experience and interests.

This is ideal for:

  • OR a junior social media coordinator wanting to learn more basic design skills
