Why Brand Strategy Is Important
When you think of a brand, what springs to mind first? The logo? The colours? The fonts? These visual details are all key components of a brand identity, but they are only one part of the bigger story. A successful brand is backed up by so much more than just a pretty face. And that's all a brand strategy is!
Let me ask you. Do you want to attract people who will pay you money for the product or service you're offering? Do you want to grow your business and have it stable and thriving, not just surviving!? Of course, the answer is YES! So, how are you going to do that? How are you going to show those lovely peeps that their hard earned money should be spent with you and not someone else? Well that's where your strategy comes in.
Here's WHY you really need to have a strategy for your brand (read: business)

- To show that ideal client WHY they should use your product or service

- To make your customers FEEL something (people don't buy products, they buy a lifestyle!)

So we now we know why we need a brand strategy, we need to know what goes into one! A brand strategy will be broken up into what you do, how and why you do it, and who you do it for.
A BRAND STRATEGY CONSISTS OF:
- Your Purpose
- Your Values
- Your Key Messages
- Your Target Market
- Your Competition (and how you're different to them)
So right now, if figuring all this out is sounding daunting and scary right now, that's okay! We recently refined our own strategy, and we'll continue to do so. As we grow, we adapt our strategy to suit. The problem solving part of business is stressful, but it's also really fun! As your business grows you'll see what's working, and what's not, and from there you can only go up!
